These biscuits were amazing! I made them substituting the 1/3 cup of milk for a 1/3 cup of plain yogurt. Very popular even with my five and eight-year-olds. Next time may try adding cheddar and garlic. So yummy,

These are really good! It was exciting to have something that has the taste and fluffy texture of a real biscuit after 2+ years of gluten-free eating. Based on a few above reviews, I subsituted the 1/3 cup of milk for plain yogurt, though kept the additional tbsp of milk. It took closer to 15 minutes for them to be done, but that's likely due to my oven. Very easy to make by hand or with a mixer.

Switch out the milk for yogurt and add splash of milk to help it come together and they are way more moist and hold together better! Delicious!

These are delicious made with coconut oil, also I substitute half plain yoghurt/half water for the milk, makes them really light.

Delicious. I have made these biscuits several times for those in our family that are gluten free. They love them!

I made this recipe with butter since I don't have shortening. I divided the dough into 6 lined muffin tin cups to help keep their shape. It is best let the cool a little before removing the paper liner.
I had one with turkey sausage on the side; one with apple butter on top. Mmm...
It was so fun to have a biscuit for the first time in long time.

These are easy and delicious - we make them with coconut oil instead of shortening and it works out well!

    • I don't like shortening either so how much coconut oil did you use?

I add 2 heaping Tbsp. of sour cream to this recipe for the biscuits, then use as dumplings in my favorite chicken and dumplings recipe. Heaven in a pot!
