Our son is allergic to dairy. Can we use egg replacer for the egg whites?

Pamelas Customer Service 12/347/2018 12/14/2018Hello Jms, Egg replacer will not work for royal icing. The best thing to do is to search the internet for vegan royal icing recipes. You can find many and you can see which ingredients will work for you.Reply

Guest 10/287/2019 10/15/2019Jms Eggs are not dairy. I made the same assumption once. LOL They're from chickens, not cows.Reply

Excellent recipe. Our kids made 2 of these last year and they were a huge hit. Easy recipe, templates, and assembly.

Thank you so much for this recipe! Our family gets together with other families and have our own gingerbread house competition every year. This is the first year he is gf. I was not sure he would be able to participate because taste is part of the competition. Thank you so much for including this recipe.

Pamelas Customer Service 12/335/2016 12/01/2016Hi Inga, We do not have a recipe specifically for gingerbread using our All-Purpose Flour Artisan Blend at this time, but you should be able to substitute it for wheat flour in a traditional gingerbread recipe.Reply

Is it edible? I mean I know it is technically but to hold up to the construction gingerbread houses are often too hard and dry to actually eat and are usually just used as decor. But I am hoping to have one that tastes good too.
