Easy Two-Ingredient Bagels
Print Recipe

Gluten-Free Egg-Free Soy-Free Peanut-Free Corn-Free Sugar-Free

Delicious gluten-free bagels made with only two-ingredients. Recipe and photo by Katie from Wheat by the Wayside

Ingredients
Directions

Preheat oven to 400° and generously grease a donut pan.
Mix together the baking mix and greek yogurt (if the greek yogurt is separated a little in the container, just scoop out and use the thick part of the yogurt)
Spoon the batter around each well of the donut pan. Use wet fingers to smooth tops if necessary.

Optional: sprinkle tops with Everything Bagel Seasoning or desired toppings.
Bake 17-20 minutes or until dark golden brown.

Notes: If you do not have a donut pan, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  Do your best to roll 1/4th of the dough into a ball (slightly wet hands will help). Place on the parchment and flatten a little -- it should be the shape of a biscuit. Then use your finger to poke a hole in the center and spread it out a little. Sprinkle with seasoning and bake as directed above which will be closer to 20 min than the 17 min.

These bagels are best when eaten fresh, the day they are made. They will keep for a couple of days at room temperature. Toast them to warm them up again.

This recipe is so simple that I was a little skeptical at first, but these bagels are delicious! I've also made them by adding in grated cheese for a different flavour.

Made this for supper tonight. I made 2 bagels and 2 long rectangles for hot dog buns. They were really nice hot dog buns. I tried a buttered bagel with some tomato slices and it made a lovely sandwich. Such a nice taste - like real bread, rather than like a bagel-shaped pancake.
Will also be a great recipe for travelling.

Incredibly simple and delicious! Bagels & fruit salad for supper last night was a huge hit with my 3 sons. Planning to make more for their school lunches this week. Thanks for another great recipe!

We are so in love with these bagels. We toast them and have topped with cream cheese mixed with jelly. We also made our own jalapeno cream cheese by itself but also with some ham for sandwiches. My hubby who is not gluten free even loved them.
My tip I put the mixture in a large piping bag and squeezed perfect round dough into the donut pan so I got perfect looking bagels easy no mess.

Wow these were fantastic and so easy to whip up. I used a large pastry decorating bag to pipe them in my donut mold. We tried them with just butter, plain cream cheese, cream cheese mixed with strawberry jam, melted cheddar cheese and jalapeno's', cinnamon, sugar and raisins they were all delicious. Great recipe!!!!!

I’ve made this recipe countless times! I add about 2 tsp of various seasonings, it changes every time. Sometimes I have garlic and onion, everything seasoning, or like today, Italian seasoning and added some extra basil. I make my bagels on a half sheet pan, and i use 1.5 cups flour w/ 1 cup yogurt, and make 4 bagels because i like them to be bigger. I have a bowl of water on my side and dip my hands in to make a ball then create the bagel hole while it’s on the silpat/ parchment. I have yet to make Asiago cheese bagels! That’s next. These bagels are light and fluffy, with a nice crust on the outside. I think full fat yogurt helps the texture as well.
